What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For the best quote I would need to know approximately how many guests there will be as if it is a fairly large event then I will know what type of material to bring.
Where is the venue? this would determine what mode of transport and how much it will cost to get to the function to give the best quote and would the venue be indoors or outdoors as again this determines what to perform because of weather etc.
What event is this? a wedding, birthday, christening and so forth again determines what type of environment and material to use.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Over thirty years experience in the entertainment industry as a magician, circus and variety performer in-person and on-screen.
With this amount of experience I believe that I will make your event the best and most professional it can be.
I also care about dress codes and will come dressed smartly unless there is another theme you would like me to dress for.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

My interest in entertainment was developed at an early age initially by watching great performers such as Paul Daniels, Tommy Cooper and Morecambe and Wise perform their acts on Television, the more I watched the more it inspired me to learn the art of magic and comedy. As well as my interest and passion for entertaining I also have a passion for making your event a happy and successful event.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I recently had a booking through Add to Event in Worthing, West Sussex for a wedding buffet at the Beautiful Dome cinema. I was greeted by the best man and introduced to the lovely wedding couple. They were very welcoming and I could not wait to begin performing for the event. I started performing at the tables and my magic was very much appreciated with positive energy.
