What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to quote a customer a price, I simply need to know the date, venue and hours required. Most of the time, I charge a set fee. My fee only changes if the venue is more than 1 hour away from where I live

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

To keep this simple, always make sure your service provider has professional equipment, backup in case there is an issue and is willing to consult with their clients before the event. It's also a good idea to take time and research your service provider, especially to make sure there are no negative reviews from their past clients.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I’m no stranger to weddings, for the last 10 years, I have worked as a professional wedding DJ and host. I’m often involved with weddings from the very start of the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and right through to the very end of the night. As a result, I know weddings inside out and I have fine-tuned my services to be one of the best in the industry. However, there’s only one passion in my life that surpasses my love of being a wedding DJ/host and that is photography! Therefore, it's only natural that I should progress my career into doing what I love the most. I’m currently inviting clients to check out my photography and take advantage of my special introduction price on weddings. In return, clients will get my professional services and I will get to showcase some wedding pictures.
