What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

in order to provide a comprehensive quote, we would need the date of your event, the venue/s your event is taking place, exactly what your expectations are from your photographer/s and how many hours you would like to book us for, a rough estimate of how many guests you're expecting at all venues. whether it is a church wedding or registry office/town hall and the style of photography you prefer.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you have a specific idea about the sort of wedding photographs, try to put this in the quote, even briefly so that we can advise you accordingly when we make initial contact and don't be afraid to tell photographers your ideas and thoughts especially if you have picked the venue for its stunning views or specific adjacent location, eg. near the beach or next to a field of wildflowers.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I was a crime scene photographer for many years then a friend asked if I would assist her in a particularly large event she had agreed to photograph. after much thought and lots of coercion by my friend I agreed to help.
This became the day I fell in love with wedding photography, I felt so honoured to be a part of it all and every one I have done since has been a unique and overwhelming experience for me I love it!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I am still looking forward to my first booking as I am still fairly new to this site.
It appears that this is a good way to quote for a booking AS THE SITE DOES ALL THE LEG WORK FOR YOU.
I shall endeavour to come back here and update you when I have been successful in my first booking.
